VitaliA (“the App”) values your privacy and protects your personal information in accordance with applicable laws.
This Privacy Policy explains what information the App collects, how it is used, and how it is protected.
2.1 Apple HealthKit Data
With your explicit consent, the App reads the following data from Apple HealthKit:
- Step Count
- Sleep Analysis
- Active Energy Burned
- Basal Energy Burned
- Heart Rate
- Resting Heart Rate
- Heart Rate Variability
- Workout Summary
Information you provide during onboarding:
- Gender, age range
- Usage purpose, height, weight, and activity goal settings
- Personally identifiable information such as name, email, or phone number
- Location data
- Contacts, photos, or other device data
Collected health data is used solely for the following purposes:
- Health data trend analysis and visualization
- Health goal progress tracking
- Wellness-oriented anomaly notices and local notifications
- Apple Watch dashboard snapshots and complications
4. Data Storage and Security
4.1 Local Storage
- Health data summaries and app settings are stored only on your device.
- The Swift native app stores local state as Codable JSON inside the app container.
- Optional
.vitalia backups are zlib-compressed files created locally by the user.
4.2 Third-Party Data Sharing
The current release does not send HealthKit data or aggregated health summaries to any external service.
5. Apple HealthKit Compliance
This App complies with Apple HealthKit guidelines:
- HealthKit data is not stored in iCloud.
- HealthKit data is not used for advertising or data mining.
- HealthKit data is not shared with third parties for advertising, data mining, or unrelated purposes.
- The App remains functional with empty states if the user denies HealthKit access.
6. Your Rights
You can at any time:
- Revoke the App’s HealthKit access in iOS Settings > Health > Data Access
- Delete all locally stored data by uninstalling the App
- Disable notifications in the App’s settings
7. Children’s Privacy
This App does not intentionally collect personal information from children under 14 years of age.
8. Changes to This Policy
If this Privacy Policy is updated, we will notify you through an app update.
